UPDATE

I have not been posting lately. Right now I'm in the last week of phase one. As soon as phase two begins I will continue to post and add any motivating theme for that day.

Day 17 Shoulders & Arms

Today was pretty much a failure. I did not do much of anything. So instead I will be making it up this Sunday. This routine will be replacing my rest day.

Day 16 Plyometrics

Plyometrics as usual is a good cardio / leg workout. Today though, I had a bit of a struggle and I am not sure why. Still continuing though and on to day 17 with Shoulders and Arms!

Day 15 : Chest and Back

Today was a good workout. It went really smooth and I also did more pullups this time around. Going to keep this energy going into tomorrow for Plyometrics.

Day 15 Theme : Dedication

Without dedication you will never finish what you once started.

Sincerely,

Nick

Day 11 Theme: One step at a time

Throughout life obstacles get placed before you causing tensions and undesirable stress. At this point in my life I have hit a road block I need to address, and the best way to do that is one step at a time. Taking steps will help eliminate some of that weight on your shoulders ( or mine).

Taking one step at a time,

Nick

Day 10 : Shoulders and Arms

After today I am definitely starting to feel the changes. I just wish I could see the changes more than just feel. Oh well, it's only day 10. All in all, today was fairly easy with cardio in the morning and working the arms and abs later on. I am NOT looking forward to Yoga X tomorrow. I despise that entire routine. I will just have to push through it though and finish off this week strong.

Love,

Nick

Day 10 Theme : Love

Love is something extraordinary. It can make or break you, and sometimes in the end kill you. It is also one of the most exhilarating feelings someone can have.

All you need is that special someone, family member, or friend to know you have the love of someone else backing your every move.

Live to love and love to live,

Nick

Day 9 - Plyometrics

Today was a late start and that did not help my case at all. Like my theme says though, changes happen. So I did my extra cardio that I chose to do the entire week throughout all routines. Then, I continued on later with Plyometrics X. With the late start and the double cardio, I felt the burn today. On to tomorrow with cardio in the morning and later on Shoulders/Arms.

Later,

Nick

Day 9 Theme : Change

In life change is occurring every day around us all, whether we are a part of it or not. There are also some changes people have to make for themselves sometimes, such as, a healthier life, more productive life, or what they may have to do in order to get a better fulfillment of life overall.

Change will happen whether it be good or bad,

Day 8 - Chest and Back

Today was a good day. It felt amazing to get back into routine after the day off, and I am already noticing results. We will see at the end of the week how much the extra cardio is helping.

Looking forward to tomorrow,

Nick

Day 8 Theme: Keep your head high

I chose this theme because everyone at some point in their life goes through a rough time. This is the time when you should keep your head high and keep looking forward for that better day. That day will come but, until it does just remain to keep your head high and your thinking progressive.

* Also to note*

Now everyday there is a muscle lift day( i.e. Chest and Back, Legs and Back, Biceps and Back) I will be doing a cardio routine the second I get up in the morning. All in all, it is the start of doubles(my own choice).

Later,

Nick

Day 7 - Rest

Today is just a rest day. I will be watching some football and relaxing as I await the start of week two, tomorrow.

Saturday, October 4, 2008

Day 6 - Kenpo X

Today was fun doing the kick and punch routines, and most definitely the easiest day ive had so far. All in all, this is probably going to be my most favored routine throughout the 90 day program.
Tomorrow I follow up with a rest / stretch day but, I will most likely add in some cardio to keep pushing my body to the limit.

Later,

Nick

Day 6 Theme: Believe

Believing can sometimes be all that you need. Just believe in yourself and get to that finish line.

Day 5 - Legs and Back

This routine was way more pleasing and fun compared to Yoga X, the day before. Overall, I would have liked to do more pull ups in the end but, that will come soon enough. As usual after this workout I am exhausted but, I get a special treat, apparently for a job well done :) ... so we will see what that is later tonight.

Later,

Nick

Day 5 Theme : Live to Love and Love to Live

Somewhere along the way of my life, this theme came across me and it still does today. The meaning behind it stands for all the family you know, the sports you participate in, the games you play, or the job you have in life. If you don't love what you do or what you have, and live to love all you have things may be pretty miserable for you in the end.

So Live to love and love to live.

Day 4 - Yoga

WOW! That is all I can honestly say. After trying to do the p90x video of yoga, it was definitely a slap to the face. I need to bring up the training a notch, and start to push harder in these next few days if I want to be able to even do one of the routines in yoga next week.

Cya 2morro,

Nick

Day 4 Theme - Sacrifice

Reason I chose this theme is because without sacrifice you wouldn't see the any sort of progression in life as we know it. Everyone makes sacrifices whether it be monetary, losing some sleep, or cutting back on your favorite snacks. We need to make these sacrifices to get where want to be in the end.

Day 3 - Shoulders and Arms

Today I used the band instead of weights, due to the weights being a little too light. It was a good decision on my part as I definitely felt the resistance and tension during this workout. I went into it thinking it would be fairly simple, as most of my strength is upper body and arms but, I was definitely wrong about that assumption. I pushed it today though, as my theme of the day is push it, and I'm looking forward to tomorrow for Yoga X.

Day 3 Motto / Theme : Push it

The thinking behind this theme is exactly what it says. Push it. Go as hard has you can and just keep pushing it.
